Leaf Cleanup in Overland Park & the KC metro
Fall clearing of lawns, beds and gutback areas, with debris removed.
One-time or recurring fall visits. Leaves come out of the turf and beds before they mat down and smother the grass over winter.
Leaf Cleanup FAQs
- How many leaf cleanups do I need in the fall?
- Most properties with mature trees need two or three passes between late October and early December. Smaller yards often get by with a single end-of-season cleanup.
- Do you remove the leaves or mulch them into the lawn?
- Both are options. Light leaf drop can be mulched back into the turf; heavy drop gets collected and hauled off so it does not mat down and kill the grass.
- Do you clean out beds and fence lines too?
- Yes. Beds, landscape borders and fence lines are cleared along with the lawn — that is where leaves pile up deepest and cause the most damage.
- What happens if I skip fall leaf cleanup?
- Matted wet leaves block light and trap moisture, which leads to snow mold and bare, thin patches that have to be reseeded in spring.
